Ms Nokubonga Ntsele
Miss Nokubonga Ntsele, hailing from KwaZulu-Natal (2001), was raised in the small town of Ulundi and completed her matriculation at Eshowe High School. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree with majors in Biochemistry, Human Anatomy, and Physiology from the University of Cape Town. Continuing her academic pursuits, she pursued a Bachelor of Medical Science Honors degree, specializing in Applied Anatomy, at the same institution. During her honours year, she conducted research on anatomical variations of the carotid artery concerning the thyroid cartilage, hyoid bone, and cervical vertebrae.
Currently, Miss Ntsele is pursuing a Master's Degree at the University of Cape Town, focusing on Anatomical Pathology within the HAMLET Research Group. Her research project investigates the impact of maternal obesity and Dolutegravir on placental pathology in pregnant women with HIV.
