DipNurs RN
Jane is the Programme Manager at the CNDU, where she oversees operations under the leadership of Professor Minette Coetzee. She manages the Unit’s budgets and relationships with funders and stakeholders across educational and clinical institutions. She also coordinates student recruitment for all programmes and manages the Unit’s social media. This is in addition to providing strategic administrative support to Professor Coetzee.
Jane began her career in the United Kingdom, where she worked as a Registered Nurse for eight years. She graduated with a Nursing Diploma from the University of the West of England and completed a Postgraduate Programme in High Dependency Nursing at King’s College London. Before relocating to South Africa in 2004, she served as the Operational Ward Manager of an Acute Medical Ward in London.
Jane joined the CNDU in 2009. Her strong background in clinical nursing, operations, and programme management continues to underpin her contribution to the Unit’s mission of strengthening child nursing education and practice across Africa.
If you are looking for Jane outside of work, you will find her connecting with her church community or camping by a river with her family.
