Clinical research project and quality management both underpin a successful study. Studies vary enormously and it is hard to find a “one size fits all” approach. However there are common concepts, and also tools from one project can usually be adapted to another. The CRC aims to support UCT FHS clinical researchers in choosing appropriate methods to operationalise a quality study. It can also provide resources, such as standard operating procedure (SOP) templates and other tools so that teams do not have to spend valuable time “reinventing the wheel”.
