The CRC provides a collaborative platform for all Clinical Research Entities within the FHS including the Clinical Research Units (CRU) at Groote Schuur Hospital (GSH), Red Cross Hospital (RCH) and Valkenburg Hospital (VBH).
These units are dedicated site based facilities which provide research facilities for clinicians affiliated to the site. The CRC will support work at these CRUs as well as at other sites, including at the secondary and district levels.
In addition to the CRU’s there are Research Groups and details of their activities can be seen on the FHS Research website. The CRC can also provide support to these groups, pending availability of resources.
