Jessica is a Programme Manager with a Science background and holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Cape Town. Her role at the CHDRU’s associated NGO, Reach, involves leading significant projects including the development and implementation of a suite of low-literacy educational flipcharts for rheumatic fever and rheumatic heart disease. She has fostered strong collaborations and led research projects involving Reach-developed tools, with a keen interest in implementation science. At the CHDRU she supports ongoing research activities through grant writing and project management. Her career is marked by a commitment to improving health outcomes and advancing research in rheumatic heart disease while providing necessary support to other CHDRU and Reach projects.
