Congratulations to Dr Julian Hoevelmann

A wave of pride and celebration has swept through the institute as Dr Julian Hoevelmann officially joins the ranks of accomplished graduates, marking a significant milestone in both academic and personal achievement.

Family, friends, and mentors gathered to celebrate this momentous occasion, reflecting on the hard work and perseverance that led to this success.  His research project, entitled “Profiling of patients with peripartum cardiomyopathy”, was conducted under the supervision of Prof Karen Sliwa (Leader of both the Cardiac disease in maternity and Heart of Africa research groups at the Cape Heart Institute) and co-supervision of Dr Charle Viljoen.
