CHI members gave several lectures at the European Society of Cardiology congress 2024

European Society of Cardiology Congress 2024, was held in London & Online from  August 30-2 September, 2024. Cardiology experts from across the globe assemble to transform patient care and advance the field through ground-breaking research, pioneering technologies, and collaborative initiatives.

Dr Vitaris Kodogo, CHI associate researcher gave a lecture at the European Cardiac Society meeting on behalf of the EORP PPCM registry group.
The proteomic study showed a distinct profiling of PPCM patients compared to healthy post-partum controls. Differences according to ethnicity as observed.

Prof Sandrine Lecour, Dr Dike Ojji, Dr Juliet Nabaale, and Prof. Mahmoud Sani also delivered talks at the congress from Cape Heart Institute. Dr Juliet Nabbaale  and Dr Vitaris Kodogo presented their original research as the Science Box. Prof. Dike Ojji presented the VICTORIA STUDY as a Late Breaking Trial in the Hotline session. Prof Karen Sliwa was a moderator on ESC TV on a session on environment and cardiovascular disease.
