Sharon Jepkorir Sawe

Sharon joined our group as a PhD student in September 2022.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied statistics with computing from Moi University, Kenya and a Msc in Data Science with a specialization in Biostatistics from the African Centre of Excellence in Data Science, University of Rwanda. Her interest in pharmacometrics started when she did a course in mathematical modelling during her Msc where she was curious about how mathematical modelling can be applied in drug development..

Research interests:

• Application of PK and PD in drug development and dose optimization for vulnerable populations including children, pregnant women and the old
• Drug-drug interactions
• Data science, statistical analysis and machine learning
