Hylke Waalewijn

Hylke Waalewijn joined our group as a postdoctoral researcher from the Netherlands in September 2022.

He completed his Masters of Pharmacy at the University of Groningen and completed his PhD at the University of Nijmegen. The topic of his PhD was the pharmacokinetics of antiretrovirals for HIV in children. Hylke was mostly involved in managing the pharmacokinetic studies within large clinical trials ODYSSEY, CHAPAS4 and UNIVERSAL. He is part of the European guideline committee for paediatric HIV treatment and am currently primarily working on projects for the World Health Organization.
