UCT Pharmacometrics at 2023 Uppsala Pharmacometrics Summer school

The Uppsala Pharmacometrics Summer School (UPSS) takes place annually in Uppsala, Sweden, with the aim to further educate PhD students with previous modelling experience. The focus of the first week is covariate modelling and the second PKPD modelling of continuous and categorical data, both weeks containing a mixture of lectures, hands-on sessions and group work. 

This year, Marie, Allan and Manna got accepted into the course and have enjoyed two weeks of acquiring new knowledge, interacting with PhD students from all over the world, and engaging in numerous social activities arranged by the organizers.

They were awarded generous travelling grants from Pharmacometrics Africa, enabling them to participate in the course, which we greatly appreciate. 

Marie and Allan will stay on with the Uppsala pharmacometrics group until end of September for exciting collaborations and more interaction with their team, and we wish them the best of luck!
