In our article titled “Constructing a representative in-silico population for paediatric simulations: Application to HIV-positive African children”, recently published in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology we hope to offer a solution for modelers that want to perform simulations in paediatric populations. As we all know, age, weight and height are highly correlated in children. To produce meaningful simulation results, one needs to simulate drug concentrations in children with a weight and height that match their age. Besides a ready-made virtual population, we also provide the R-script to make your own population.
