Rashidah Nakamyuka

Rashidah Nakamyuka joined the group as a PhD student in March 2026.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Master's degree in Pharmacology from Makerere University, Uganda. Her interest in Pharmacometrics was largely cultivated through her participation in the Pharmacometrics Africa short courses. Following her MSc, she completed the Applied Pharmacometrics training Fellowship with Pharmacometrics Africa, during which she worked on an industry-partnered project with Eli Lilly under the mentorship of a Pharmacometrics faculty member.

Her PhD research focuses on population pharmacokinetic modelling of drugs used in the treatment of infectious diseases, with a particular emphasis on HIV, mpox, and Ebola.
