Ms Inge Smit
Ms. Inge Smit, a dedicated PhD candidate actively engaged in the HAMLET project, directs her research towards the intricate interplay between obesity and Recurrent Pregnancy Loss. Her academic journey is adorned with notable accomplishments, including a Master’s in Public Health from University College Dublin, an MSc in Ethnobotany from the University of Fort Hare, and Honours in Medical Virology and Epidemiology from the University of Stellenbosch.
Her foundational education includes a BSc in Medical Bioscience from the University of the Western Cape.
