A/Prof Mike Posthumus
PhD, Dip.IOPN, BSc(Med)(Hons) Exercise Science
Mike Posthumus is an Adjunct Associate Professor within the Health through Physical Activity, Lifestyle and Sport (HPALS) Research Centre at the University of Cape Town. He currently serves as the Head of Performance for the Specialized Factory Racing Cross-Country Mountain Bike (XCO) team. Mike is also partner and senior coach at Science to Sport, where he works as a coach and performance nutritionist. A former head of the High Performance Centre at SSISA, Mike’s passion for high performance is grounded in both research and real-world application.
