Emeritus Prof Steve Reid, ex-HOD of FaCE Dept, is a rural family physician from KZN with a doctorate in education. He established the Centre for Rural Health at UKZN and was Director of Primary Health Care at UCT from 2010 until his retirement in 2024. His interests are in community-oriented primary care, distributed health sciences education, and medical & health humanities, including the intersection of the arts with health.
Our in-person meeting will be in held in Classroom 1 on level 3 UCT HPALS, SSISA building, Boundary Rd, Newlands.
