•Dale Wellcome Trust grant for a collaborative study between international & national partners focused on integrating sleep & circadian science into our understanding and treatment of anxiety, depression & psychosis in adolescents.
(R51 million).
•Feyisayo Wayas FHS Research transformation Award for her project on Citizen science
•Alison SA MRC mid-career award (R5 million), co-tutelle programme Stirling university, P recently returned from the University School of Physical Education in Krakow, Poland.
•Prof Sudesh Sivarasu Re-awarded the DSI/NRFI South African Research Chair (SARChI) in Biomedical Engineering & Innovation at University of Cape Town
•Lara Dugas AXA chair in non-communicable diseases epidemiology
•Dr. Sharief Hendricks was awarded the DVC Building Research Active Academic Staff Grant.
•Assoc Prof Janetta Harbron awarded Co-Create Solutions for Adolescent Obesity
