Katie serves as a Research Intern at the Unit. She provides technical support to the Unit’s projects by conducting of literature reviews and report writing. She also works closely with the Unit’s interdisciplinary collaboration the Trauma Advocacy Group (TAG). Prior to joining the Unit, Katie worked as a facilitator and program coordinator for an international violence prevention non-governmental organisation. She is currently pursuing her master’s in public health on the Social and Behavioural Sciences track. Her master’s research is focused on barriers experienced by migrant women when accessing services in response to gender-based violence. |
