Dedicating your event turns something you are already doing into something bigger. Your participation helps raise awareness and support for The Odyssey Project while giving you the chance to take on a challenge with a purpose.
How it works
Odyssey Athlete
Make a once-off pledge (check race specific details below for amount) and become an Odyssey Athlete.
Your pledge gets you exclusive Odyssey Athlete kit (powered by Inqaba Biotec) to wear on race day or in training:
- Cycling: Jersey, bib shorts and socks
- Running: Running shirt and socks
Wear your kit with pride, dedicate your event to The Odyssey Project and help raise awareness for genomic research.
For selected events, the Odyssey Athlete package may also include a secured race entry.
Odyssey Voyager
Get your own personalised BackaBuddy fundraising campaign and activate your network to raise funds for The Odyssey Project.
As a Voyager, you'll receive dedicated race kudos and become part of the Odyssey athlete community — helping rally support for the search for answers.
You can take part in your chosen event, fundraise your way and bring your community along for the journey.
Voyager participation does not include physical Odyssey Athlete kit or a guaranteed race entry. Race entry arrangements are event-specific.
