The event was held at the American Corner, a beautiful public space in Cape Town's Central Library. The evening was hosted by American Consul General Virginia Blaser, who is in a unique position to support and promote a number of collaborative projects that exist between various US partners and CARA researchers. Following a viewing of two clips from the  Life, Animated documentary, Prof Petrus de Vries moderated a discussion for the audience which included CARA researchers, professionals, family members, and individuals with ASD. We were joined by Walter Suskind, brother of the film's protagonist via Skype, for a very moving and inspiring discussion. Thank you to all who worked to make this event possible!
