CHI research group: Cardiac Imaging and Inflammation  

Patricia Mazwi Maishi is currently employed as a Senior Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Radiographer at the Cape Universities Body Imaging Centre – University of Cape Town. She earned her MRI certification at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. She works on various MRI projects addressing major public health concerns in South Africa. Currently enrolled for Masters of Science in Radiography, investigating the impact of Pericardial and Paracardiac fat on cardiovascular structure and function in HIV persons on ART: a CMR study. She is a member of The International Society for MR Radiographers and Cardiac Imaging and Inflammation research group.
