Mr Tafadzwa Muchabai

Tafadzwa Muchabaiwa is a PhD candidate in Information Systems at KCA University, Nairobi, where his doctoral research develops context-aware ensemble machine learning methods for health risk stratification in low- and middle-income country (LMIC) settings, addressing the practical and ethical challenges of deploying predictive health systems in resource-constrained contexts. With over a decade of university lecturing experience in ICT, Tafadzwa is the founder of simb.AI Africa Lab, an initiative advancing AI for health, responsible AI, and African languages and culture. Research Interests: algorithmic fairness and accountability, AI for health equity, data justice, explainable machine learning, African-language NLP, AI governance in low-resource settings. Research Areas: ensemble machine learning, predictive health systems, responsible/ethical AI, and natural language processing for African languages.
