Hi, I’m Nelisiwe Mngadi, an Administrative Assistant at Vuka, also known as the “running enthusiast”.

My career journey in healthcare began in 2017 when I worked for an NGO supporting TB/HIV patients in a primary health care setting. Through that experience, I developed a deep passion for serving and working within communities. In February 2026, I joined Vuka and started my journey in the research field for the first time. Although research was completely new to me, the experience has been both educational and rewarding. I continue to learn every day and have grown to love working in a research environment. What I enjoy most is being surrounded by people who are passionate about making a positive change in the community and improving the lives of others.
