My journey with Vuka started in 2023; not as a staff member, but as a participant in the PrEP study.

What began as curiosity became something much bigger. Being part of the PURPOSE 1 study opened my eyes to the importance of HIV prevention and helped me understand clinical research in a way I never had before. I developed a strong interest in learning more and growing within this space.

Today, I am proud to be serving as an intern at Vuka. My journey is proof that sometimes opportunities come in unexpected ways and when you are open to learning, doors can open beyond what you imagined.

I’m grateful to be part of a team that is making a real difference in the community.
