With support from the Children’s Hospital Trust, private donors and industry, the field of functional neurosurgery has seen an expansion of the services provided at the Red Cross Children’s Hospital to include deep brain stimulation for movement disorders. This service, provided for the most severe cases is lead by paediatric neurosurgeon Dr Nico Enslin.
