Dr Kevin Sack who was graduated at the ceremony of the Faculty of Health Sciences on 6 April 2018. Kevin received a PhD in Biomedical Engineering for a thesis titled "Subject-Specific Efficacy Prediction of Mechanically Motivated Therapies for Heart Failure". The thesis develops realistic subject-specific computational models of healthy and diseased hearts and investigates the efficiency of biomaterial injections in the cardiac muscle and left ventricular assistance as therapies for myocardial infarction and heart failure.
