Congratulations to Dr Mazin Sirry for and being awarded the PhD degree during a graduation ceremony in 11 June 2015.

Mazin's thesis on "Computational biomechanics of acute myocardial infarction and its treatment" develops a computational framework that enables exploring the micromechanics of therapeutic biomaterials delivered into the heart muscle after myocardial infarction, thereby contributing to the advancement of therapies for cardiac infarcts and subsequent heart failure.
