Dr Tamer Abdalrahman joined the Mechanobiology Lab as postdoctoral research fellow to contribute to the research in therapies for myocardial infarction. Tamer received his PhD from the University of Torino, Italy, and subsequently undertook a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Vienna, Austria. Tamer's expertise is in theoretical mechanics. His research at MBL will focus on cellular and peri-cellular mechanics in stem cell therapies for myocardial infarcts.
