Congratulations to Mazin Sirry for completing his PhD thesis! Well done! Mazin submitted his thesis earlier this month and is currently enjoying time with his family. Mazin will then return to MBL in January 2015 to take up a postdoctoral fellowship funded from the South African Centre for High Performance Computing. Mazin's postdoctoral research will continue to focus on the development of therapies for myocardial infarction to prevent heat failure.
