We have an exciting post-doctoral fellowship position available in the IDM Microscopy Platform to work on the development of mobile microscopy solutions for resource-limited settings.

This 18-month position (with possibility of extension) focusses on the development and adaptation of open- source, modular microscope designs to create a "microscope in a suitcase" system. This portable solution will support biological research applications and research training in diverse field settings and resource- constrained environments. This position is open to recent PhD graduates from diverse STEM backgrounds, and is available to start as soon as possible.
