Mr Robin Veitch

Robin Veitch is currently pursuing an Honours in Anatomy as part of the MBCHB-BMedSc(Hons) Intercalated programme at the University of Cape Town. With a profound interest in surgery, global health, research and community outreach.

 Robin has served in several capacities including Deputy Head of Pathology and Head of Outreach at the African Research Society: Head of Research and now President at the UCT Surgical Society.

He has also joined the Research, Advocacy and Implementation Fellowship at UCT, while taking on the position of Deputy Chair of the International Congress of Innovations in Global Surgery (ICIGS 2024) alongside Prof Salome Maswime, Chair of the Congress.
