Mr Ramses Peigou Wonkam

Ramses Peigou Wonka is a 4^th year medical student at the university of cape town. He holds a passion for both medicine and science.

Following admission to the UCT intercalated program, he obtained his Medical Science Honours degree in human genetics, graduating cum laude and top of his class.

Additionally, Ramses has led community health initiatives through serving as the 2023 President of SHAWCO Health as well as a board member for the greater organization. Currently, he is head of research for the UCT surgical society.

Ramses’ research investigates causes EC attendance in the cape Town community of Heideveld.
