Jo Park-Ross is a paramedic with extensive exposure to urban and rural healthcare in both ground ambulance and aeromedicine. Her focus on systems development and education feeds a keen research interest in quality improvement and capacity building in the African context. Jo believes that unlocking human potential is the key to improving systems, and this is shown in the work of Project TeamCare – a quality improvement project focused on in-situ training at Groote Schuur Hospital.
