Ms Camryn Ferns

Camryn Ferns is an intercalated MBChB-BMedSci (Hons) student at the University of Cape Town. She  recently graduated with Honours in Infectious Diseases and Immunology, in the first class, and her  research centrered around drugs used to treat tuberculosis.

She is a dedicated and passionate individual striving towards careers in both medicine and scientific research, and envisions  working in Public Health one day.

Her current research interests include: the management and prevention of infectious diseases, health policies, and improving access and equitability of healthcare services. I hope to become an African changemaker on a global platform and I am honoured to be a RAI fellow.
