At the Faculty of Health Sciences, we are committed to ensuring that our undergraduate students have the support they need to succeed. The Nyukela Augmented Support Programme is designed to run alongside students’ academic journeys, providing targeted learning support, workshops, and skill-building resources to help them thrive.

This initiative was established to enrich students' learning experiences rather than address academic difficulties. Our team—a diverse group of educators, lecturers, and student mentors—works closely with students, offering guidance on time management, research skills, critical thinking, and effective communication. We take a personalised approach, meeting students where they are and helping them develop the skills they need to achieve their academic goals.

Students can access support through the Nyukela Academic Success Amathuba site, where they will find valuable resources, workshop details, and opportunities for individualised assistance. We also encourage students to complete a short form (available here), which helps us tailor our support offerings to their needs.

For more details on the Nyukela Augmented Support Programme, visit our Amathuba site or contact our team directly. We look forward to walking this journey with you!
