Francois Cilliers was a guest speaker at the 8th WITS Faculty of Health Sciences Teaching and Learning Symposium in September. Cees van der Vleuten from Maastricht University was also a guest speaker at the event. The theme of the symposium was Fit4Purpose: Making assessment matter. Cilliers’ talk was entitled Practising assessment in resource constrained settings: What is sound assessment in Africa?
