In a recent news, our Clinical PK team has successfully completed a five-day training session on SCIEX LC-MS/MS technology. Guiding us through this journey was Dr Jens Dahlmann, a SCIEX Application Support Specialist with profound expertise in the field. Dr Dahlmann's presence added immense value to our training, offering specialized knowledge, practical insights, and troubleshooting expertise.

The training session was a comprehensive program focused on three essential areas, enhancing our proficiency in the realms of analytical chemistry and pharmacokinetics. The first topic addressed was "Triple Quad Basic to Advanced Theory." This segment furnished our team with a profound understanding of Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry, from foundational principles to advanced theory, enabling us to maximize the capabilities of Triple Quad MS/MS.

The second component of our training was centered on "Advanced Quantitation Training," a comprehensive program that went beyond the fundamentals. It aimed at equipping our team with the knowledge and skills necessary to build a robust LC/MS method, optimize instruments effectively, fine-tune compound parameters, address matrix effects, and employ various quantitation methods, including Analyst Classic, Intelliquan, and SCIEX OS.

The final aspect of our training was "Toxicology Advanced Training." High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS) holds great significance in toxicology studies, and our advanced training in this domain provided us with a comprehensive grasp of the SCIEX X500R QTOF HRMS. This knowledge will allow us to conduct more precise and thorough toxicological screenings as well as other non-targeted analyses.

With these three pillars of training, our Clinical PK team is better prepared than ever to tackle the complex challenges of our industry with enhanced proficiency and precision. This achievement reaffirms our dedication to providing expert services to our clients, contributing to scientific advancements, and pioneering innovative solutions in the field of pharmacokinetics and analytical chemistry.
