The Division of Paediatric Otolaryngology is based at Red Cross Children's Hospital & comprises the Centre for Advanced Paediatric ENT (CAPE).

Clinical services include a busy outpatients' department and elective operating theatre lists.

We manage children with complex ear, nose, throat, airway and head and neck conditions as well as complex children with regular ear, nose and throat, airway, and head and neck conditions.

We are inclusive of a multi-disciplinary tracheostomy service called Breatheasy (R)

Our paediatric division forms part of the larger, highly specialised Division of Otolaryngology, and Groote Schuur Hospital.  During their training, ENT registrars complete their paediatric rotation at Red Cross Children's Hospital.

We are affiliated to PENTAFRICA (Paediatric ENT Society in Africa).
