Dr Tom J. Obengo

Tom is a philosopher and bioethicist from Kenya. While currently based at Moffat College where he teaches ethics and philosophy, he also teaches bioethics at both the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) and Kabarak University. During his Postdoctoral research fellowship at the EthicsLab, he focused on Epidemic Ethics on which he published articles and a book chapter. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Ethics, specialising in Bioethics, from the University of Stellenbosch. He is a member of the Epidemic Ethics Team at the Global Health Network and the Bioethics Society of Kenya.
