Dr Safura Abdool Karim

Dr Safura Abdool Karim is a public health lawyer and Senior Scientist at CAPRISA, where she leads research projects on legal pandemic preparedness, legal epidemiology, and the commercial and political determinants of health. As a Research Associate in the EthicsLab, she collaborates with colleagues on meaning-making and consensus-building toward an account of solidarity in global health law instruments, specifically the Pandemic Agreement.
