Assoc Prof Caesar Atuire

Caesar is a philosopher and health ethicist from Ghana. He is Ethics Lead for the MSc in International Health and Tropical Medicine at the University of Oxford and Associate Professor of Applied Philosophy at the University of Ghana. He is currently leading a team of highly qualified colleagues from across the globe on a Wellcome Discovery Award titled “Moving Beyond Solidarity Rhetoric in Global Health”. Whilst visiting the EthicsLab, he worked on the foundational chapters of a book that is currently under review with Oxford University Press. The book will be a meta-ethical and practical discussion of global health ethical issues as seen from the perspective of contemporary African philosophy.
