Dr Allan Sudoi

Allan Sudoi is an early career post-doctoral fellow, based at the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme in Nairobi, Kenya. He recently completed his PhD, co-supervised at the EthicsLab, which was an empirical ethics study aimed at proposing guiding principles for benefit-sharing in biobanking in LMICs. From his research, he proposed ethical principles of inclusivity, reciprocity, and equity, and his upcoming work will delve deeper into these principles to develop a practical guide for researchers and institutions and to formulate normative propositions for their implementation.
