Congratulations to alumnus Prof Mazin Sirry for receiving a prestigious Iso Lomso Fellowship for Early Career African Researchers from the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study. Mazin is currently Assistant Professor and HOD of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Khartoum, Sudan. The three-year Iso Lomso Fellowship will support Mazin's research activities including a total of 10 months residency at STIAS in Stellenbosch.
