Dr DT Nyika is a highly qualified and dynamic dermatologist. He holds a Fellowship in Dermatology (FCDerm SA) and earned his Master of Medicine in Dermatology with distinction (cum laude) from the University of Cape Town (UCT). Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Dermatology at UCT, with a focus on the epigenetic underpinnings of keloid scarring—an area where his clinical expertise and research passion converge. 

Dr Nyika brings a robust portfolio in general, paediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, with a keen interest in skin scarring and evidence-based skincare. He is also the developer of a dermatology teaching module at UCT, demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence and the training of future dermatologists. 

Above all, he is a proud father, balancing the demands of medicine and academia with intentional parenting and reflective living.
