Dr. Eddy Zitha is a full-time educator, research scientist, and undergraduate Co-Convenor and short courses Convenor in dermatology. In addition, he organises and oversees the Dermatology Diploma program (in development).

He is presently finishing his doctorate at UCT that study neuropsychiatric sequelae in drug reaction patients. He is currently working on developing the Dermatology Diploma and serving as the team lead for the Dermatology Short Course program.

In addition, he has grown interested in psychodematology, the subject of his doctoral dissertation, which he plans to pursue further. His areas of interest in research are mental health in cutaneous drugs reactions.
