Celebrating Fogarty Fellow Katlego Motlhaoleng's PhD Graduation

Katlego Motlhaoleng, a Fogarty HIV-Associated Tuberculosis Training Program (HATTP) fellow, celebrates her PhD graduation. Her doctoral research used implementation science to evaluate South Africa’s targeted universal TB testing (TUTT) strategy in rural and urban settings, examining how effectively the new policy translates into improved case detection and linkage to treatment among people with HIV. Her work has resulted in three publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals and provides valuable evidence on the real-world implementation of TUTT.
