Date: Thursday, 11 April 2024
Venue: Hlanganani Junction - Level 5 - Chancellor Oppenheimer Library
Time: 10:00 - 12:00 SAST

This workshop will introduce students to the principles and practices of effectively interrogating the literature in preparation for developing strong academic arguments:

- Concept mapping your topic (briefly revisited)
- Thematic and active reading
- Developing critical questions
- Literature review matrix
- Analysing the literature

This workshop (2 of 4) can be attended as a ‘standalone’ session; however, it is most valuably experienced as part of the full series, which navigates through the research process.

Presented by Dr. Natashia Muna, Senior Lecturer, Department of Health Sciences Education and Co-ordinator of the FHS Writing Lab.
