Sabrina Walter is the Founder and Managing Director of Women For Change, one of South Africa's leading gender justice organisations, dedicated to ending gender-based violence and femicide through advocacy, public mobilisation, survivor support, and systemic change.
Over the past decade, Sabrina has built one of the country's most influential activist movements, using the power of storytelling, social media, and collective action to drive national conversations and policy change. Under her leadership, Women For Change has mobilised millions of people, supported thousands of survivors, and played a pivotal role in the campaign that led to gender-based violence and femicide being declared a National Disaster in South Africa.
In 2026, Sabrina was named to the prestigious TIME100 list, recognising the world's most influential people for her leadership and unwavering commitment to advancing women's rights. Her work has also received international recognition, including multiple Cannes Lions awards and global honours for social impact and advocacy.
As a speaker, Sabrina brings a unique perspective on activism, digital advocacy, leadership, and the power of ordinary people to create extraordinary change. She is passionate about ensuring that survivors' voices are heard, that women are empowered to take up space, and that collective action continues to reshape South Africa for future generations.
