Applications are now open for UCT EthicsLab's pioneering MSc in Global Health Ethics, a first-of-its-kind, two-year interdisciplinary programme designed to challenge conventional thinking about health, ethics, and technology.

Programme Overview 

This innovative degree brings together three critical domains: African Humanities, Global Health, and the Ethics of New and Emerging Technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Genomics, and Neuroscience. It prepares graduates to think beyond their discipline and critically engage with the ethical, social and policy dimensions of contemporary global health challenges. 

Programme Structure 

The MSc comprises 18 months of contact teaching and 6 months of self-directed research.
