The 8th African Conference on Emergency Medicine (AfCEM26) will take place in Arusha, Tanzania, from November 9th to 13th 2026. Hosted by the African Federation for Emergency Medicine (AFEM) and the Emergency Medicine Association of Tanzani.

As AFEM's biennial flagship conference, AfCEM provides a vital platform for clinical education, scientific exchange, and cross-regional collaboration that directly addresses the unique challenges and opportunities in emergency care across Africa's diverse contexts. Conference highlights include cutting-edge research presentations, skill-building workshops, networking opportunities with African and international emergency medicine leaders, and exploration of innovations in emergency care delivery.

The conference is supported by SUPADEL, AFEM's peer-to-peer sponsorship model designed to ensure broad delegate access and foster collaboration among emergency care professionals at all levels across Africa.
