Dr Mbena has a keen interest in the undergraduate teaching platform. She is the 6^th year MBChB exam convenor and assists with teaching the 4th and 6th year MBChB students at the Ambucare clinic at Groote Schuur Hospital. She is also the convenor for the MBChB 3rd year clinical rotation (Semester 6) and assists with 6th year teaching in the medical wards.
